What is GivingTuesday? It is an opportunity for people around the world to use their individual power of generosity to support their communities. This year, our goal is to raise $5,000 for our Art@Arc program by Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
Art@Arc is the creative arts program of The Arc-Solano. Established in 1995, it provides participants with a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental atmosphere in which to explore their creative voices. The freedom to create and the freedom to make individual choices in this program are the cornerstones that allow our consumers to gain recognition and increase self-esteem.
Art@Arc and its artists have flourished in 2024. Our gallery received a makeover and we held a very successful gallery re-opening. Eight Art@Arc artists won ribbons at the county fair this year. We are participating in Vallejo Open Studios for the first time. We've collaborated with Personal Spaces Art Gallery for two shows this year.
Our artists need the right tools to continue this trajectory. Monies raised in this GivingTuesday campaign will be spent on professional art supplies, which our artists need to continue to grow and succeed. Thank you, in advance, for your generous support!
