Check out 2026!
JANUARY 2026
For the first time, we offered a CPR and AED course to our program participants! Our Executive Director, Stacey, is an ASHI-certified CPR/AED and First Aid Instructor and was the teacher for the day. She was very proud of everyone who took the class, and they all passed with flying colors.
Our Art@Arc program was SUPER excited to participate in the Creativity Explored X Open Invitational Art Fair in San Francisco. It was an honor to be among so many other talented progressive studios from across the country. Free and open to the public, the fair expanded SF Art Week's offerings to encompass these important artworks, artists, and studios; catalyzing the long-overdue cultural dialogue of who is exhibited, who is collected, and who is discussed.
FEBRUARY 2026
Once again, we visited the Legion of Honor in San Francisco for a docent-led tour... this time of the special exhibit featuring French Impressionists Manet & Morisot. It was beautiful and inspiring! Afterwards, we feasted at the Hardknox Cafe on Clement. This great restaurant is friendly, inclusive, and serves delicious food!
February was made for dancing! First, we attended the Greater Vallejo Rec District's Valentine's Love Bug dance in North Vallejo- and it was a blast! They served us pizza, we made adorable love bugs, and we boogied the afternoon away! The following day, we visited our friends at UCPNB for WineBev's Valentine's Dance. They really know how to throw a party!
In our ACT program, Community Access was our Core topic. We ended the month with practice runs on the public transit system in Vallejo. The Transit Center in downtown was beautiful!
