Stacey Martinez

Stacey, a Vallejo native, began working in the disability field in 1998 as a Respite Care Provider while attending Sonoma State University. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English (minor in Art History) and then attended UC Davis for a graduate program in Art History. While at Davis, she continued her work as a Respite Care Provider.

In 2004, Stacey transitioned from the field to the office as an Agency Respite Service Coordinator, eventually developing and managing the company's Employer of Record respite program. Stacey was also responsible for the organization's two newsletters, the CPR/FA training program, and assisting with the website.

In 2014, Stacey graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Master's degree in Nonprofit Administration (MNA) and began working at The Arc-Solano as the Director of Services. After a few years, she transitioned to Associate Executive Director, and on February 29, 2020, she became the Executive Director. Stacey enjoys representing The Arc-Solano in the community. She is a graduate of Leadership Vallejo, year 10 cohort. Stacey also served as a voting member of North Bay Regional Center's Vendor Advisory Committee and spent 3 years as its Co-Chair. She has also been active in the Vallejo Chamber of Commerce and was part of 100 Women Who Care, Solano County.

In her personal life, Stacey still lives in Vallejo with her partner and her daughter. She spent 4 years on the board of the Cave Language Academy PTA, plus she is an active member of Soroptimist International of Vallejo.
