Stacey began working in this field as a Respite Care Provider in 1998. Over a six year period, she provided respite to over 75 clients with a wide variety of developmental disabilities, including Autism, Intellectual Disability, Down Syndrome, Epilepsy, and Cerebral Palsy. She learned about the Arc-Solano in 2004 when she became a staff member for Bay Respite Care, which shared a building with the Arc-Solano until 2012. During that time, Stacey developed and managed a respite program that provided services in five counties to over 800 families. She also oversaw the CPR and First Aid training program and ongoing in-service trainings to over 500 Respite Care Providers.
Stacey first joined the Arc-Solano as a Board Member in 2013. After earning her Master’s degree in Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco, she made the move from Board Member to staff member in November 2014 as the Director of Services. In this position, Stacey provided support to all our service programs and directly supervised our newest core program, Tailored Day Service. As part of The Arc-Solano's succession plan, Stacey became the Associate Executive Director in November 2016.
