William Ford
Wil joined The Arc-Solano’s Board of Directors in June 2019. Wil has extensive professional experience in this field; he has worked at the Area Board 4 for Developmental Disabilities, Comfort Keepers, Connections for Life, C.A.R.E. Evaluators, and most recently at Faith in Action. Wil also served in the United States Air Force from 1991 – 2001. During his tenure in the USAF, he held a variety of positions including 60th Operations Support Squadron Noncommissioned Officer in Charge- Aircrew Resource, Chief of 21st Airlift Squadron, Operations Resource Management, and Chief of Combat and Control Training School, Operations Resource Management.
Wil has earned multiple degrees from Napa Valley College: Associates of Science Degree in Human Services (2014), Certificate in Human Services (2014), Associates of Science Degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences (2008), and Associates of Science Degree in Psychiatric Technician (2008). Wil is a registered Psych Tech.
Wil is also a dedicated family man. He lives in Fairfield with his wife and two adult sons, both of whom have special needs. His younger son has been a client of North Bay Reginal Center for most of his life. Wil and his wife are both strong advocates for their children and all who have disabilities.
Wil begins his tenure as Board President in June 2024 after having served as Board Secretary.
