Volunteer-a-thon 2025
People always ask, "What does The Arc-Solano do for its program participants?" but today we want to share what The Arc-Solano does for our community!
Two of our programs give back to the community through volunteering, which gives our program participants a sense of purpose, develops employment readiness skills, and builds community relationships. But just how much do we contribute? Well, we will find out in June!
Usually, you see walk-a-thons, bike-a-thons, dance-a-thons, read-a-thons... but The Arc-Solano is doing a volunteer-a-thon! We ask that you pledge per volunteer hour. For example, if you pledge $.50 per hour and we volunteer for 100 hours, you've made a $50 donation to The Arc-Solano. We will count all volunteer hours worked during the two weeks of June 2 - June 13, Monday - Friday.
You also have the choice to make a flat donation if you'd prefer.
On our event website under the updates page, we will keep you informed about volunteer locations and experiences. You'll find us throughout Solano County and more!
