Check out 2025!
JANUARY 2025
We started the year with a trip to the de Young Museum in San Francisco to see the special exhibit featuring the Polish painter Tamara de Lempicka and we finished the day with lunch out!
FEBRUARY 2025
Our program participants were so excited to attend A Night to Shine in Vacaville! This annual prom is specifically for people with developmental disabilities, and it celebrates their wonderfulness!
MARCH 2025
We hosted our Math-a-thon, where all activities were math-related! Staff created a variety of carnival-inspired activities that used math skills to solve, and participants earned tickets to redeem for prizes.
APRIL 2026
April is DisCo at the Capitol! We put on our advocacy hats and descended on Sacramento for a day-long rally and meetings with our representatives.
MAY 2025
It's our annual BBQ and Talent Show at Rush Ranch! Thank you to the Solano Land Trust for allowing us to use this amazing space for our event.
June 2025
Volunteer-a-thon! We wanted to prove just how valuable our program participants are to the community by measuring our volunteer time. We kept track of all the hours that our participants and staff volunteered in the first two weeks of June, and the total was an astonishing 275 hours!
We also started volunteering with The Coach Sarna League at Levi Stadium and attended a Giants game!
SEPTEMBER 2025
We were the featured artists at the Benicia City Library's gallery! Our Art@Arc artists put on an amazing show for the community to enjoy.
OCTOBER 2025
As always, Halloween is a hoot at The Arc-Solano! Participants love our annual party and costume parade.
NOVEMBER 2025
The Arc-Solano was proud once again to adopt Rodriguez High School as its polling location! All poll workers took the online training, the in-person training, and happily worked on November 4, 2025!
DECEMBER 2025
The Arc-Solano closed out 2025 with a fantastic holiday outing for our TS and TDS departments at the Solano Mall; we received a very generous donation from the Community United Methodist Church; we attended the Friends of the Solano County Library volunteer lunch; and we participated in the UCPNB holiday craft fair!
