The Arc-Solano is thrilled to host the Sprout Touring Film Festival in October 2020. This festival includes many excellent short films featuring people with Intellectual/Developmental disabilities. It is funny, empowering, deep, entertaining, and memorable; we hope you love these films as much as we do. This film festival embodies many of The Arc-Solano's guiding principles, including empowerment, education, advocacy, and life-long learning. We are delighted with the success of this delightful and powerful presentation. Like the Sprout organization, we also aim to "Make the Invisible Visible."
Our 2019 Sprout Touring Film Festival event was HUGELY successful! The audience loved the films, it brought a new awareness to the community, and it was a fun-filled evening for all, in the beautiful venue of the Cal Maritime campus. Due to COVID-19, we, unfortunately, cannot host this event at Cal Maritime. So this year, we are bringing the event to you via Zoom! You can get comfy, pop some popcorn, and relax in your own space while watching these fantastic films.
The event begins at 4:30 pm and we start the movie screening at 5 pm. During our intermission, at 6 pm, you will have a chance to participate in our Art Sale. The second batch of films will begin around 6:30, concluding at 7:15 pm. We will announce the winners of the Art Sale once the movies have concluded.
The Arc-Solano greatly appreciates your support! Without your generosity, we would not be able to provide our top-quality, essential services. Proceeds from this festival will positively impact the lives of our program participants who live throughout Solano County.
